The capital always at the forefront in terms of culture and hospitality
The capital will always deserve our attention. Its museums, luxury hotels and intense cultural life will keep it, once the Covid-19 crisis under control, at the top of the world’s tourist destinations.

The Covid-19 epidemic has put a stop to tourism around the world.
And the big cities are the first to be impacted, abandoned by a mixture of health constraints and the absence of social and cultural life.
It prevents. Their strengths remain hidden in the shadows and only ask to shine again, once the pandemic is under control.
It’s not Paris and the Ile-de-France region who will say the opposite, they who had received more than 50 million tourists in 2019, exceeding the attendance record of 2018.

Louis Vuitton Foundation
Let’s focus on three places that illustrate the creativity of a capital always at the forefront in terms of culture and hospitality.
So the Louis Vuitton Foundation. Set in the Bois de Boulogne, the white setting of star architect Frank Gehry, dedicated to contemporary art and cultural creation, offers major exhibitions open to all.
If Paris still lacked museums devoted to modern art, the Louis Vuitton Foundation has come brilliantly to strengthen the capital’s offer.
Since 2014, the building imagined by the American architect has housed every year two exhibitions-events.
Since 2018, it has also offered a program dedicated to creation, Open Space. In this context, artists are invited to design projects in the building.
The Foundation also houses a 1,000-seat auditorium where classical, jazz or contemporary concerts are offered, in particular honoring young virtuosos. Conferences and workshops are also organized there.

Morozov Collection from September 22, 2021
After the exhibition dedicated to Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999), one of the leading figures in design in the 20th century, the public should be able to appreciate from September 22, 2021 to February 22, 2022 – pray that the sanitary situation allows it – the Morozov Collection and its icons of modern art.
The exhibition will bring together more than 200 masterpieces from the collection of modern French and Russian art by the Muscovite brothers Mikhail Abramovich Morozov (1870-1903) and Ivan Abramovich Morozov (1871-1921).
Presented for the first time outside Russia, it brings together major works by Cézanne, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Renoir, Monet, Bonnard, Denis, Matisse, Derain and Picasso alongside emblematic artists of the Russian avant-garde such as Vroubel, Malevitch, Repine, Larionov, Serov.

Auditorium … and bookstore
Outside exhibitions, the Foundation is open to the public (reopening on September 22, 2021).
Different tours are offered, some with cultural mediators: night tours, audio-guided tour with a dedicated application, etc.
All particularly enhance the architectural dimension of the site.
The auditorium allows you to admire the works created by the artist Ellsworth Kelly for the place.
For art lovers, a large bookstore has four universes : contemporary art, architecture, applied arts and youth.
Finally, let’s not forget the taste pleasures. The Foundation hosts Le Frank, a gourmet restaurant under the baton of Michelin-starred chef Jean-Louis Nomicos.
Under the hanging fish by Frank Gehry, the menu offers refined and gourmet dishes, just like the high standards of the exhibitions.

Hôtel The Peninsula
Luxury hotels are in the DNA of Paris.
Among the last establishments to have established themselves in the capital, we must speak of The Peninsula. It sits on avenue Kléber, in the 16th arrondissement.
Five star luxury, 114 rooms and 86 suites, BMW 7 series and Mini Cooper S Clubman for customers to explore Paris, a refined Asian spa, five memorable tables …
No doubt: The Peninsula belongs to the very large class, that of hotels whose stay within their walls is remembered for a long time.

An unprecedented “customer experience”
In the heart of the capital, very close to the luxury Paris and the great monuments, the establishment has made its mark in the City of Light alongside the historic jewels of the Parisian hotel industry.
The rooms and suites are among the most spacious in Paris and are equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Each is designed as an apartment, with living room, dressing room and dressing table.
The “customer experience” is unique with significant details, a shoe polish box and… a nail dryer in each room.
The common areas of the hotel are reminiscent of a museum, with collections of paintings, sculptures, photographs and exclusive decorative arts.

Five restaurants
The five restaurants offer a unique choice. A gastronomic address, The Peninsula offers to try the best of French (L’Oiseau Blanc), Asian (Lili) and international (La Terrasse Kleber and Le Lobby) cuisine.
Special mention for the Rooftop and the terrace of L’Oiseau Blanc: placed on the roof on the 6th and last floor of the hotel, they offer an exceptional panoramic view of Paris.
Relaxation is not absent since the hotel has a 1,800 m² spa (considered the largest of the palaces in the capital), a fitness center and a splendid indoor swimming pool.

La Terra Madre, Italy in real life
Multicultural, the capital is also blessed bread for fans of gastronomy from around the world.
And for those who despair of not being able to eat Italian anywhere other than in pizzerias or pasta restaurants, we have the “good plan”: The Mother Earth. Italy, for real!
“Hidden” in the 20th arrondissement, this restaurant concocts real Italian family cuisine, with remarkable local recipes.
There, they are called Rocco Angi (the son), Rosa Maria (the mother), Carmine (the father) and Andrea (the brother-in-law).
The family, originally from southern Italy, is at the helm of this address on rue de Ménilmontant!
In a wood and sober decor of a neighborhood boutique, we revel in meatballs veal, eggplant parmigiana, from cutting Calabrian, of buffalo mozzarella…

Olive oil and Italian wines
Recipes from deep Italy designed “like at home”, Calabrian and Sicilian trend, with a preeminence of organic products.
They are served with the delicious transalpine accent of Rocco and his family.
La Terra Madre is also a real grocery store. You can buy authentic products, olive oil, artisanal pasta, Italian wines …
For those who cannot make it to the 20th district, the restaurant offers a catering service, with delivery in the capital.
Paris is magical !
