Two men were arrested on remand after kidnapping the wife of one of them, a 28-year-old woman, from a commune in Dolj and taking her to Slatina, news.ro reports.
According to a communiqué of the Dolj County Police, policemen from the Melineşti Rural Police Section 1 were notified, on Monday, by a 112 call regarding the fact that a person was forcibly taken from the street.
“The police officers immediately went to the scene, who from the first verifications established that the person in question is a 28-year-old woman, from Şimnicu de Sus commune, who while she was on the street was allegedly pushed into a car, which subsequently continued to travel in an unknown direction.After the complex activities carried out by the police, with the support of some police officers from IPJ Olt, the young woman in question was located in the area of Slatina, together with a man of 31 years old and a 22-year-old man “, it is shown in the communiqué of IPJ Dolj.
The two were taken to the police headquarters, and the police established that the 31-year-old man from Drăgăneşti commune, Olt county, is the husband of the respective woman, and on Monday evening he drove with a 22-year-old man, also from Drăgăneşti, in the commune of Şimnicu de Sus, from where he would have taken, against his will, the young woman, later moving to Slatina.
The two men were initially detained for 24 hours for unlawful deprivation of liberty and domestic violence, and were then presented to the court which decided on their pre-trial detention for 30 days.
