The average dollar price in banks decreased by about 6 piasters at one time during Thursday’s trading, compared to its level yesterday, Wednesday, according to the data of the Central Bank of Egypt.
According to central bank data, the average price of the dollar in banks in Egypt during today’s trading amounted to about 15.94 pounds for purchase, 16.04 pounds for sale, compared to 16 pounds for purchase, and 16.10 pounds for sale yesterday.
And banking sources told Masrawy that the depreciation of the pound was due to the increase in foreign investment flows in government debt instruments.
And Masrawy monitors the prices of the dollar in 11 banks at the end of trading today:
National Bank of Egypt:
The purchase price: 15.95 pounds for purchase.
Sale price: 16.05 pounds for sale.
Egypt Bank:
