‘Bennifer’ is a fact again. After singer Jennifer Lopez and actor Ben Affleck already had a romance shortly after the turn of the century, the two are again a couple. This is evident from a photo that J.Lo. shared on Instagram.

The rumors have been circulating for a while, but now there is no doubt thanks to Instagram. The post with the caption ‘52 what to do‘ contains a number of glamor shots of the singer – in honor of her 52nd birthday – in a bikini by Valentino, a summer kimono with print by Dolce & Gabbana and a hat by Nick Fouquet. But no one pays attention to the outfits: the last picture of the set that takes all the attention: it shows how she kisses her old flame Ben Affleck. So it is once again cake and egg between the two.
Affleck and J.Lo. already had a romance from 2002 to 2004. They were even engaged at the time, but postponed the wedding due to the enormous media attention. The couple felt so rushed that they sent out a press release to explain themselves. For example, they had considered renting out three locations and sending fake brides and wedding processions onto the road… everything to outsmart the paparazzi. “That we should consider that is downright wrong,” wrote Bennifer in 2003. “This has to be the most beautiful day of our lives and for that reason we decided to choose another date.” Keep in mind that Benifer is one of the first high profile celebrity couples of the time, a time for Kimye and co. Shortly afterwards, Affleck had doubts and the wedding was called off.
It is now 2021 and they were both single. They are currently together on a yacht near Saint-Tropez. According to the Daily Mail, the luxurious ship has no fewer than seven cabins, a fitness and a wellness area. Affleck is meanwhile already accomplished’Instagram-husband‘ – a partner or spouse who keeps showing up to take pictures of his/her/their partner.
