Netflix has reportedly canceled the upcoming Cobra Kai season 3 and 4. False rumors are circulating on social networks.
A rumor on social media claims Cobra Kai will be canceled on Netflix. Speculations say that the series from the movie “Karate Kid” would have ended after the third season.
Very quickly, many fans were frightened by this assumption. After being released on YouTube, the series has become one of Netflix’s most popular series.
The rumor spread like “fake news”. It says that Cobra Kai “was canceled after the release of the third season”.
The announcement of this rumor was spotted by the Snopes website.

The Cobra Kai series is not canceled on Netflix
In fact: the Cobra Kai series is not canceled by Netflix at all!
The series from the film “Karate Kid” will have a fourth season which is confirmed. Moreover, this one is already filming. Furthermore, Jon Hurwitz has already revealed that the Cobra Kai series will have five seasons.
Even if the 5th season of Cobra Kai is not imminent, there should be related series and films derived from the universe of “Karate Kid”. This is clearly an intention of Netflix.
The ever-changing Cobra Kai cast
According to Deadline’s Denise Petski, Vanessa Rubio and Peyton List were cast in the series. This means that they will appear more prominently in the upcoming fourth season.
Rubio has played Carmen Diaz, Miguel’s mother, since the show’s first season. List plays Tory Nichols, Samantha LaRusso’s rival in Cobra Kai.
Johnny and Carmen’s relationship is therefore expected to be developed, along with Sam and Tory’s rivalry.
Additionally, Dallas Dupree Young and Oona O’Brien were announced in recurring roles in the fourth season of the Karate Kid spin-off.
