Nearly 50,000 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Turkey in one day, 211 died and more than 28,400 were cured in the last 24 hours.
This is the highest one-day jump recorded in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.
A total of 49,584 cases, including 2,003 symptomatic patients, have been confirmed nationwide, BGNES reported.
The total number of cases in Turkey is over 3.5 million, while the number of deaths across the country has reached 32,667.
Recent data show that the number of critically ill patients with COVID-19 has increased to 2,407.
To date, more than 10.3 million people have received their first doses of coronavirus vaccine, while two doses have been given to nearly 7.33 million.
