Trump’s second impeachment trial just rises… 32 hours of’Spear and Shield’ confrontation

The U.S. Senate has agreed on how to proceed with Trump’s impeachment trial starting today (9th) local time.

The Hill, a political media outlet, reported yesterday that the Senate representatives of both parties, including Democrat Chuck Schumer and Republican Mitch McConnell, agreed yesterday on the method and duration of the impeachment hearing.

The framework is that the prosecutor’s impeachment prosecutor and former President Trump’s defense team fight against the senator, a jury, for a total of 32 hours each for a total of 16 hours each, and if no witnesses are adopted, the hearing procedure is completed early next week.

Former President Trump, dissatisfied with the results of his presidential election in November last year, was on the charge of inciting civil war by encouraging the uprising of the Capitol in a speech to supporters on the 6th of last month while he was in office.

The House of Representatives, headed by the Democratic Party, passed an impeachment bill on the 13th of last month.

According to the agreement, on the first day of the hearing, the Senate will debate whether the impeachment hearing of former President Trump is constitutional, and then vote.

Former President Trump insists that hearings against the former president are unconstitutional, but prosecution members made up of Democrats in the House of Representatives insist that cases that occurred during the presidency are subject to judgment even after retirement.
