The authorities in Argentina have allowed relatives of people with Covid-19 who are being treated in hospitals, to see their loved ones through hospital windows.

Argentina, which recorded more than 1.5 million cases of Coronavirus and 41,000 deaths, was initially subject to very strict health restrictions, which caused thousands of people to die alone in “solitary confinement.”

“I really wanted to see him because I was so worried that I would never see him,” says the daughter of a patient undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit at Posadas Hospital in Buenos Aires.

Although cases have decreased in recent weeks, they have started to rise again in recent days.
