The state election campaign has been going on for some time, especially between the Greens and the CDU, the supposed government partners. For a long time they managed to find compromises, albeit often of poor nature. It makes you sit up and take notice when the Greens publicly acknowledge a change of partner – with an unclear majority perspective. And that although Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann has long been striving for a black-green alliance in the federal government. In the country, the Greens made a mistake when they gave the impression that they wanted to enter a camp election campaign.
