Apparently several users of the medium had misunderstood the news and regretted the wrong known death: not Diego Armando Maradona but Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, as the famous American singer is called in full.
Of course, it could not be long before jokes were made about the misunderstanding. And so the effect was amplified and Madonna remained “trending” for a while. The 62-year-old singer has not responded to the quail herself.
