JAKARTA, KOMPASTGeneral Chairman PDI Struggle Megawati Soekarnoputri is surprised that he is still often accused of being a member of the Indonesian Communist Party or PKI.

Some even accused their parents of being part of the PKI. He was then surprised because his father President Sukarno and his mother Fatmawati were heroes who contributed to Indonesia’s independence.
