Abu Dhabi: The UAE Ministry of Interior says that 95% of accidents are caused by the use of mobile phones while driving. The carelessness of a person causes the loss of life and serious injuries to many innocent people.
The ministry’s attention was unleashed by releasing the scene of the serious accident that occurred after crossing a red light. He also reminded them to follow traffic rules and ensure their own safety and that of other passengers.
Last year the number of road accidents and deaths increased. In 2021, 381 people died and 2620 were injured in 3488 accidents. In 2020, 256 people died in 2931 accidents. 2437 people were injured.
