NEW YORK — What would have been a day of fun turned into a tragedy for a family who traveled from New York to the Dominican Republic after the cruel murder of a 9-year-old boy.

It is about the minor Gioser Luis Féliz Camilo who died during the early hours of Wednesday from a bullet impact to the head when he arrived in the country through the Cibao international airport with family members, and they were heading to Villa Vásquez, through Circunvalación avenue in Santiago .

Those allegedly involved in the murder, who are residents of the Cienfuegos sector of Santiago, were identified as Luis Ángel Vargas Brito, Derlin Javier Mercado Martínez, César Junior Ulloa Cuevas, José Manuel Almonte Santana and Elian Martínez Sánchez. In addition, another person involved would be Timas Espinal Morel, who would be a friend of the father. They are also investigating at least five others.

According to the Police, the suspects rented the white vehicle with which they followed the car driven by the father of the minor, his sentimental partner and his son. The little boy, who was in the fourth grade of primary school, suffered a bullet wound to the head and died at the Doctor Arturo Grullón children’s hospital in Santiago.
