Mayor of Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka positive confirmed that he was positive for the Corona virus or COVID-19. The announcement was made directly by Gibran to reporters in Solo via the Zoom application, Wednesday (14/7/2021).
Here are 9 facts that were revealed about Gibran’s condition:
1. Proven from PCR results
Gibran’s condition, which was positive for COVID-19, was discovered after carrying out a PCR test at the Bung Karno Hospital (RSBK). Previously, Gibran conducted an antigen swab test which he does routinely.
“I routinely carry out antigens and coincidentally yesterday my antigen was negative. However, I did not believe the results, so I ordered a friend from RSBK (Bung Karno Hospital) for PCR and the results were positive,” said Gibran.
The results were known on Monday (12/7) morning.
2. Had negative antigen
Before deciding to retest PCR, Gibran perform an antigen swab test. And the results of the test stated that the number one person in Solo City was negative for COVID-19.
However, Gibran did not necessarily believe in these results. President’s eldest son Putra Jokowi It also requested that he be tested using PCR.
And sure enough, from the test results, Gibran tested positive for COVID-19.
“I didn’t believe the (negative) result, then I told a friend from the RSBK for a PCR and the result was positive,” said Gibran.
3. Status OTG
Even though he tested positive for COVID-19, Gibran admitted that he did not feel symptoms like other Corona virus patients.
Even Gibran said, his condition is still healthy and can still carry out activities as usual. Including doing work as before exposure corona virus.
“But media friends don’t need to be afraid, here I am in good health, without any symptoms,” he said Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
