9.3 million for Giro555 action • Australians can go abroad again in November

As of today, many corona measures have been relaxed in Flanders. For example, the mouth mask obligation will lapse in shops, the catering industry, in many workplaces, at school and at many events. In public transport, in care, the contact professions and at some events, a mouth cap remains mandatory, reports the VRT.

Furthermore, the Flemish nightlife will open again after a year and a half of mandatory closure. Visitors must show a ‘Covid Safe Ticket’, the Belgian corona admission ticket. This allows people to prove that they have been vaccinated, have recovered from corona or have recently tested negative.

In Wallonia and Brussels, the old mouth mask rules continue to apply. In these parts of Belgium, a corona pass is being worked on for the catering industry, among other things, but that arrangement is not expected to be finalized until October 15, writes the VRT. In Brussels, from 1 October, it is possible to work with a Covid Safe Ticket for discotheques, indoor events with more than 50 attendees and outdoor events with more than 200 attendees.
