820 new infections and active cases rise to 7,036

The situation in Galicia continues to worsen, with a new maximum number of infections in a single day during this sixth wave and a new increase in active cases to 7,036. The incidence continues to increase and the 14-day figure is already 254, while the 7-day figure reaches 159. Today the high number of cases in the health area of ​​Pontevedra is striking, while those of Vigo and Ourense continue to be the most affected.

Hospital pressure increases again today, with 6 more admitted to the ward and 4 more to the ICU, making the total hospitalized increase from 187 to 197, 90 more than last Friday.

Vigo registers a new maximum of infections, reaching 259, while Ourense and Pontevedra are above 100. The latter is the area that is worsening the most in percentage in recent days.
