(CRHoy.com).-The National Pharmacovigilance Center (CNFV) affirms that only 0.1% of the population vaccinated for COVID-19 has reported any Event Supposedly Attributable to Vaccination and Immunization (ESAVI), which is defined as any unfavorable health condition after immunization that does not necessarily have a causal reaction to the vaccine.
Until December 3, the CNFV analyzed 6,404 from ESAVI with the Pfizer vaccine and 3,601 from the AstraZeneca vaccine.
In the most common reactions encountered by Pfizer is the nervous system disorders mainly recurrent headaches, pain at the injection site, fever and skin rashes.

In total they are counted 81 serious cases, 61 due to the Pfizer vaccine and 20 due to AstraZeneca.
Of these serious cases, 29 reports are of deceased people, 27 are from Pfizer and 2 from AstraZeneca; of which the majority had risk factor’s.
- 14 cases were considered as conditional, which means that the time sequence is reasonable and the reaction would not be explained by the patient’s clinical status, but the picture presented not known as effect of the vaccine.
- 12 cases were classified as improbable, which means that it lacks previous reports and does not meet the above criteria to establish a causal relationship with the vaccine.
- 3 cases were classified as possible, Given the may be due to other patient factors.
Of the rest of the 52 severe cases, but not deceased, it was determined that:
- 26 probable cases, given the potential relationship between the symptom and the administration of the vaccine.
- 16 possible cases since it can be due to other factors of the patient.
- 7 conditional cases, which means that could be conditioned to pathologies presented by the patient that could trigger the disease.
- 3 of the unlikely cases, which means that it lacks previous reports and does not meet the above criteria to establish a causal relationship with the vaccine.
