A policeman named Bharada E shot his fellow comrade police named Brigadier J or Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat to death. The deadly shooting took place at the house of the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
The incident occurred last Friday (8/7). The deadly shooting began when Bharada E found Brigadier Joshua entering Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s house. Bharada E at that time was on duty at the house located in Complex Police Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, that.
Bharada E then rebuked Brigadier Joshua. However, Bharada E’s reprimand was shot back by Brigadier Joshua. Bharada E also returned the fire of Brigadier Joshua. The shooting also resulted in the death of Brigadier Joshua, an aide to Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

1. Brigadier Joshua Shoots Bharada E First
The shooting began when Bharada E found Brigadier Joshua entering the house of a police official. Bharada E then rebuked Brigadier Joshua. However, Bharada E’s reprimand was shot back by Brigadier Joshua. Bharada E also returned the fire of Brigadier Joshua.
“Bharada E reprimanded him and at that time he raised a gun and then shot and Bharada E avoided and returned fire at Brigadier J. As a result of Bharada E’s shooting, Brigadier J died,” said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan here on Monday. Jakarta, Monday (11/7/2022).
“Brigadier J shot the person concerned (Bharada E, ed). When he (Bharada E, ed) asked why he (Brigadier Joshua, ed) was there,” he added.
2. Bharada E Membela Diri
The National Police revealed that the shooting of Brigadier Joshua was an act of self-defense by Bharada E. At that time, it was said that Bharada E was forced to return fire which was first fired by Brigadier Joshua.
“Surely Bharada E did it, because he was defending the attack by Brigadier J,” said Ramadhan.
3. Bharada E on Standby at the House of Police Officers
Police also revealed the reason for the presence of Bharada E at the house of a police official. At that time, Bharada E was assigned to guard the house.
“There is no misunderstanding, yes. What is clear is that Bharada E is there for the sake of standby indeed in the official residence,” said Ramadhan.
