The Swedish gentlemen
had traveled to Poland
to play the last match
in the qualifiers for the World Cup in football.
A victory should take it
the blue and yellow team for the World Cup in Qatar
in November and December this year.
But the match on Tuesday
unfortunately ended in loss.
A few minutes in
in the second half
felled Jesper Karlström
a Polish player.
It became punishment.
Robert Lewandowski
could make it 1-0 for Poland.
Twenty minutes later
bounced the ball unhappily
for Marcus Danielson.
Piotr Zielinski blev fri
and shot 2-0 to Poland.
Sweden had a couple of dangerous chances,
but failed to score.
– A heavy day.
It’s very hard
to miss the World Cup.
That’s what Emil Forsberg said
to TV4.
Instead of blue and yellow for the World Cup
becomes the red and white Poland
who are allowed to travel to Qatar.
