Witnesses heard several shots, another witness saw a man with a firearm in the warehouse. An eyewitness from the warehouse said: “I saw the man with an automatic rifle. He fired at it. Then I ducked myself”.
When the police arrived, the action was still in full swing.
“We found 8 people who had been shot,” said the police. And there are also several injured people. According to the police, the shooter then shot himself and the situation is now under control.
The carrier FedEx has announced that the perpetrator is a former employee of the Indianapolis site.
