University of Indonesia (UI) students., Muhammad Hasya Attalah Syaputra (18), died in an accident in Srengseng Sawah, South Jakarta. This fatal accident involved a Pajero car driven by the initials ESBW, retired police officer.
The incident took place on October 6, 2022. This case of the incident emerged after the victim’s family confided on social media.
The family believes there has been no follow up on ESBW regarding the UI student incident. However, police said the incident was still under professional investigation.

Victim’s father’s chronology of events
The victim’s father Adi Syaputra said that the incident happened on 6 October 2022. At that time the victim was walking home from campus to the boarding house.
“He rode a motorcycle home to his boarding house, a motorcade with his friends. Suddenly it seemed that someone was crossing to the right, then the deceased suddenly braked and continued to go to the right. thrown to the right, there was a car in front of the Pajero car,” Adi said when contacted on Friday (25/11/2022).

Hasya was finally rushed to the hospital after lying down for about 30 minutes. While in the hospital, Adi admitted meeting this retired policeman. Adi is disappointed with the attitude of this retired cop.
“So when we went to the hospital we met, I asked which one hit him, but he was really like an innocent person. The answer was ‘It was me who crashed’ with his style,” explained Adi.
The UI begs to be investigated transparently
Attalah is a student of the UI Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP). The leadership and extended family of FISIP UI are hopeful that there will be an accident that will kill Attalah investigated transparently.
“The FISIP UI leadership and extended family encourage the authorities’ best efforts to handle and respond to this incident case wisely, transparently, seriously and truthfully according to applicable procedures, in order to uphold justice for the family and for all of us who are left behind,” wrote the FIP UI leaders and family on their Instagram account, on Saturday (11/26).

“It is already being worked on by the South Jakarta Laka (region),” ESBW said briefly.
