The group Gurkha is one of the world’s elite troops working for the army English. They are known for their bravery on the battlefield.
Traditionally, Gurkha troops were recruited from the Gurkha region of Nepal. They were then inducted into the British Army from 200 years ago, quoted by the official website The Gurkha Welfare Trust.

1. The Ten Thousand
The Ten Thousand are a force of the Greek army commissioned by General Cyrus the Younger to overthrow his brother, King Artaxerxes II from the Persian throne.
As reported Historyin 401 BC, the Hellenic army fought alongside Cyrus and his rebel forces by clashing with the king’s army in Baghdad.
When the Ten Thousand fought, Cyrus was killed in battle. Not only that, the general who supported Cyrus was betrayed and killed while trying to negotiate.
The Ten Thousand were then pursued by the army of Artaxerxes II, forcing them to flee from enemy territory.
The team then named Xenophon as one of their new leaders. Xenophon took them on a nine-month voyage from Babylon to the Greek port of Trapezo on the Black Sea.
Despite repeated ambushes, wandering in unfavorable weather and hunger, they managed to evacuate. Three quarters of their team survived.
2. The White Company
The White Company was a free enterprise that assumed a leading role in the wars in Italy in the fourteenth century.
The first units of this army appeared in 1360 and were led by Sir John Hawkwood. Hawkwood was an English man who was awarded for his service in the Hundred Years War.
Under Hawkwood’s leadership, the White Company was known as one of the elite armies in Italy.
The troops of the White Company were recruited from England, Germany, Breton and Hungary. They are famous for being skilled in the use of bows and spears.
Additionally, this troop is known for being able to scare its enemies with quick and unexpected attacks. They are also willing to fight in difficult situations, even at night.
3. Swiss Guard
The Swiss Guard is the Pope’s protective force in the Vatican. This army has existed since the Renaissance.
This army was one of the first European armies to master the use of armored spears and spears.
