Huawei will again present affordable laptops in Indonesia. The device in question is MateBook D14 and D15and will be released April 12, 2022.
These two laptops are the successors to the MateBook D14 and D15 which were released last year. In the latest version, Huawei provides a number of improvements.
The kitchen is now using the eleventh generation Intel Core. Plus a series of interesting features that increase user productivity, what are they?
1. Light and Easy to Carry
The MateBook D14 and D15 are made with a thin and light metallic material that makes them easy to carry anywhere. Huawei also polished the design to make it look premium.
“This MateBook goes anywhere, whether working or just taking it to a cafe, the design gives a different class, looks premium and not bulky. Unlike other laptops in its class, the design is big and it doesn’t look beautiful,” said Edy Supartono, Training Director of Huawei. Indonesian CBG.
The MateBook D14 weighs 1.38 kilograms with a thickness of only 15.9 mm. While the MateBook D15 weighs 1.56 kilograms with a thickness of 16.9 mm.
2. Spacious Screen
Both the MateBook D14 and D15 offer a spacious screen thanks to the application of thin bezels on the right, top and left sides. The MateBook D14 has a screen to body reaching 84%, while the D15 has 87%.
Both carry anti-glare IPS screens with Full HD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and view angles of up to 178 degrees.
“The MateBook D14 and D15 have been pinned with TÜV Rheinland certification with a Low Blue Light filter so that they are comfortable and not easy to tire the eyes. And there is Flicker-Free to avoid an uncomfortable look on the eyes,” explained Edy.
3. Huawei Control Panel
The MateBook D14 and D15 carry a Huawei Control Panel to make it easier for users to access a number of very useful features, such as taking screenshots easily and converting photos into text form. Users can also perform screen recordings and search for files on their computers or Huawei phones easily through this feature.
4. Super Device
It’s part of the Super Device Smart Office. This feature enhances the Multi-Screen Collaboration function which allows access to two different devices in one PC screen.
Super Device brings a variety of new functions, such as transferring files between two devices via drag and drop commands, as well as the ability to directly open mobile and tablet files on a PC.
Super Device access is in the middle of the Control Panel, surrounded by a row of icons representing other Huawei devices. Simply drag the desired Huawei device icon to the PC icon to enable connectivity for various combinations of paired devices.
This function allows instant connection between devices in the Huawei ecosystem, including Bluetooth mice, wireless speakers, and many others.
5. Charger Portable
The MateBook D14 and D15 are equipped with chargers that are made small so they are easy to carry. In addition, it uses USB Type C, so it can be used to charge other devices.
No less important, the charger provided by Huawei supports fast charging. “Enough to fill in 15 minutes can be used for 2 hours,” explained Edy.
6. Fingerprint Sensor
The two latest Huawei laptops are equipped with fingerprint sensors for security. But what’s interesting is that when you press the power button to turn on the laptop, the sensor will immediately scan, so users will immediately log into Windows.
“The login speed is only one second, you can enter and open it. Imagine if we had to log in, enter a password and press enter, just enter, it took three steps. This is just one step, safe and practical,” Edy claimed.
7. Long Lasting Battery
Huawei promises long-lasting battery life for the MateBook D14 and D15. Carrying a 56W battery is claimed to be able to support all day activities
“I can play 10 hours of Full HD video, 9 hours to do assignments and 8.5 hours to browse the internet. So that means one working day, from morning until I go home, I don’t need to charge it because it lasts all day,” concluded Edy.
