In total, no less than 696 verbalizations were written for non-compliance with health measures against the Covid-19 epidemic.

“Other control operations will continue to be carried out over the next few days throughout the department,” the prefecture also promises.

Reinforced restrictions

As a reminder, since January 16, a curfew has been in effect between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. prohibiting all travel outside the home, except for exceptional reasons. Offenders face a fine of 135 euros and up to 3,570 euros in the event of a repeat offense.

To this measure, has been added since Sunday the closure of non-food shopping centers with a surface area greater than 20,000m² as well as non-food businesses in shopping centers and shopping malls with a useful commercial surface area greater than 20,000m².

In addition, in open shops, the health protocol has been reinforced with a smaller number accepted in establishments depending on their size. Stores with a surface area of over 400m² cannot therefore accommodate a greater number of customers than that allowing each person to reserve a surface of 10m².
