JAKARTA – Director of Prevention and Control of Directly Infectious Diseases and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) Siti Nadia Tarmizi said that out of 68 patients Covid-19 The Omicron variant is divided into two hospitals, namely RSPI Sulianti Saroso, North Jakarta and RSDC Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
“Currently, only 9 cases have been treated at the RSPI as of this morning. The remaining 59 cases are still being treated at the Wisma Atlet RSDC because most of them are travellers,” said Nadia in a virtual discussion on BNPB Youtube, Thursday (12/30/2021).
Nadia also added that there have been no new findings of cases of the Omicron variant until now. “There has been no recent update regarding the number of detected omicrons,” he said.
Previously, Nadia said the data on positive cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in Indonesia on Wednesday (29/12) increased by 21 people. So far, there are 68 positive cases.
