He also appealed to the public to implement the 3M Plus Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN). The first M is to drain water reservoirs such as bathtubs, jugs, water toren, drums and other water reservoirs.

“The walls of the tub and water reservoir must also be scrubbed to clean and dispose of mosquito eggs that stick closely to the wall,” Didi said in his statement as quoted on the official website of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Friday (12/4/2020).

The next step is to close tightly the water reservoirs such as bathtubs and drums. Closing can also be interpreted as the activity of burying used goods in the ground so that there is no standing water, because it has the potential to become a nest for mosquitoes.
