Pinos, Zac.- Members of the State Preventive Police (PEP) arrested six people who were carrying firearms, chargers, cartridges; In addition, two vehicles were seized.
The arrest was made as a result of the analysis, investigation and field work carried out by the police officers of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP), it was stated.
During the operational deployment, the uniformed officers located on a dirt road in the Pedregoso community, two vehicles in which several people were circulating, who, upon noticing the police presence, tried to flee.
Upon reaching them, the officers carried out a physical inspection of six men, who were found in possession of two long firearms and two short weapons; In addition, they were in possession of eight magazines of various calibers and approximately 114 cartridges.
In this same place, the two units in which these people were traveling were seized.
The six men and war material were placed at the disposal of the competent authority.
