At the organization, the Minister of Sports and the delegation which accompanied him were entitled to a presentation of the model of the site and the work carried out. Behind the stand, infirmary tents are provided for anti-doping control and the red cross. Also, marquees for catering as well as removable toilets for convenience. We have also planned two training grounds made up of eight tracks each, tracks measuring 4 by 15 meters. I believe that these training grounds are already being used by our national team,” he explained.

In turn, Mr. Yaya GARBA, President of the Beninese Pétanque Federation, thanked the Government of President Patrice TALON for having fully played its part for the competition to be held without a hitch. He invites the Beninese people to support the Championship with their presence because it is the first world competition organized by Benin.

He particularly thanked the Head of State, President Patrice TALON and all members of the government for their support, mainly the Minister of Living Environment who managed the work part.

Note that for the competition, there will be the worlds in head to head, doubles, triplets, mixed and precision shooting.
