Saturday, at the very end of the evening, the firefighters of the Hérault intervened in the municipality of Lamalou-les-bains at the level of the avenue de la gare.
The fire was reported around 11:30 p.m. Significant resources have been mobilized by the command of SDIS 34 in order to avoid any propagation thanks to the establishment of several lances.
In total, 5 people had to be rehoused, either by family or by the services of the town hall.
The exact circumstances of the fire outbreak are not yet known.
It should be noted that around midnight, another residential fire mobilized around twenty firefighters in the Near Arènes district of Montpellier for a fire in a small apartment on the 3rd floor of a residence. The fire was quickly brought under control thanks to the significant resources deployed.
