JAKARTA – conditions Saipul Jamil increasingly alarming, after four years in prison. The length of time he was unemployed made Saipul poor.
“He doesn’t work and no money comes in,” said Saipul Jamil’s ex-lover, Indah Sari in Jakarta recently.
Saipul Jamil doesn’t even have any more properties to sell. Indah said, everything Saipul owned had changed hands and the proceeds from his sales were used to survive in prison.
“Everything has been sold, nothing else can be sold. Houses, cars and others have been sold,” he said.
“Both cars are sold. The house in Kelapa Gading has been sold. Then he has a shophouse that was sold several months ago. It has been a while and the shop has been sold,” said Indah Sari.

As someone who was once close to Saipul Jamil, Indah hopes that the sworddut will immediately breathe free air. Indah can’t bear to see Saipul lose all his hard work while working in the country’s entertainment industry.
