4 things we think we already know about the new iPhone 13

That’s why we can’t be sure yet when the iPhone 13 (if that’s what it’s actually going to be called) will come true. This is expected to happen at least between September and December. The specifications of the device are not yet certain, but there are already rumors. We discuss things we already think we know about the new iPhone 13.

At least three different devices

The new lines of iPhones usually consist of several different devices. There were previously three, but Apple expanded this with the iPhone 12. It is expected that the same series will also be released for the iPhone 13. So we are talking about an iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and an iPhone 13 Pro Max. A small side note is that the iPhone 12 Mini does not sell well and there is therefore a chance that there will be no iPhone 13 Mini.

Three new colors

For the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, it seems that these will be available in three new colors. Silver was already possible with the Pro series of the iPhone 12. With the Pro series of the iPhone 13, the devices would be available in the colors black, rose gold and ‘sunset gold’.

Upgrade Image Refresh

The iPhone 12 still lagged behind the competition in terms of screen refreshment. It seems that this will be different with the iPhone 13 Pro series. The devices will probably get a refresh rate of 120Hz, which should ensure that the screen feels smoother when gaming or scrolling through your social media feed.

In-screen vingerafdrukscanner

The iPhone 13 is expected to get an in-screen fingerprint scanner for the first time, something that is already the case with many Android flagships. This in-screen fingerprint scanner will come alongside the already existing Face ID.
None of this has been confirmed yet, but they are rumors coming from various sources. That makes it likely that there is a (large) kernel of truth in it. One thing is certain: they will be decent high-end smartphones, because you can leave that to Apple.
