4 Right WiFi Router Positions so the Internet Is Not Slow : Okezone techno

JAKARTAWiFi is now a mainstay for the public to access the internet, although sometimes there are complaints that the access speed is slow. One of the causes is the improper placement of the WiFi Router.

Reporting from Laptop Mag, Wednesday (12/1/2022), basically there is a best point to place the router by mapping the magnetic field it emits.

Here is the right location for the WiFi Router so that the internet is not slow and remains stable.

1. On High Tempat

Try the router is in a rather high place to avoid it being blocked by a lot of stuff, because it can interfere with the signal transmission.

2. Place in the middle of the room

Avoid placing the router in the corner of the house or near a power outlet. This placement is not effective, because all objects around it will absorb, block, and weaken the signal.

So, position the WiFi Router in the middle of a building or house, so that every corner of the building is reached by the WiFi network.

3. Adjust the Antenna Position

If the router you are using still has an antenna, it is best to adjust the position of the antenna so that the internet network is not slow. Remember, the Antenna serves to enlarge the network capture.

Point the router up if the router only has 1 antenna. Meanwhile, if you have more than 1 antenna, make sure you don’t point them in the same position.

4. Do not place near the microwave

Placing the router near the microwave is a mistake, as microwaves also use electromagnetic signals to heat food.

Therefore, the signal emitted by the microwave can interfere with the WiFi signal.

In addition, it is also best not to place the router on electronic devices made of metal, such as metal shelves, steel tables, refrigerators, TVs, and so on.
