The New York Police Department urges the public to provide information leading to the arrest of an unidentified woman accused of attacking a 2-year-old girl in Bedford Park, in the confines of Barracks 52.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:47 a.m. on Tuesday, August 24, but the NYPD is now offering a $ 3,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the assailant.

According to the police report, the suspect unprovokedly attacked the little girl, who was leaving her mother’s hand from the building located at 230 East 198th Street, in the Bronx.

In the surveillance videos, it is observed how the stranger approaches from behind and forcefully pushes the girl to the ground. According to the police, the girl’s head hit the pavement, and she suffered several lacerations and injuries.

The woman fled on foot, heading north on Valentine Avenue. The victim was transported by emergency services to Montefiore Medical Center in stable condition.

The suspect is between 35 and 45 years old, is about 5 feet 4 inches tall, is dark skinned, weighs about 130 pounds, and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts and red sneakers.
