33,072 deaths in Italy since the start of the epidemic

The number of deaths and new contaminations to the new coronavirus have gone up in Italy in the past 24 hours, reported on Wednesday the Italian news agency Ansa on the basis of figures from the Civil Protection.

In 24 hours, the Covid-19 carried 117 people, against 78 the day before, which was the lowest figure since March 2. Lung disease claimed the lives of 33,072 people in total in the country.

In addition, 584 new infections were detected, for a total of 231,139 infections. Rome announced 397 new cases on Tuesday.

The peninsula has a total of 50,966 patients infected with the new coronavirus. Sixteen patients were discharged from intensive care, which still treats 505 patients.
