On November 17, Collado allegedly shot them both inside a home located on Louisiana Avenue, in the East New York area of ​​Brooklyn.

Acevedo died at the scene and his son Gustavo Devora died on Saturday in a hospital.

Ramona said that the double homicide was the deadly outcome of a story of jealousy and violence because Collado was allegedly very jealous of his sister and in the days before the murder, the attacks intensified.

“Wherever she went, she couldn’t go alone, because he was always attached to her,” he said. “But suddenly in the last few days he was already getting aggressive and saying things to her, he got angry with her, any little thing bothered him,” he added.

The trigger for the tragedy, Rosa’s family added, would have been that the woman had already warned her partner that if she lost her job because of the constant calls she made to her, she would end the relationship. “She had told him: if they fire me from my job because of you, we will leave each other,” her sister explained.
