President Andrés Manuel López Obrador reported on Monday that around 25% of the six million lottery tickets have been sold for the raffle of the commercial value of the presidential plane, which means around one million 530 thousand 800 “little pieces” already sold.
At a press conference, the head of the federal government reported that there is a commitment from employers and union organizations to buy “cachitos” and deliver them to their workers.
“(It has been sold) 25% of the tickets, around 750 million pesos sold. There is a commitment to buy companies, union organizations to deliver their workers with the purpose of helping, and also in the National Lottery stores, plus the work of the wallets, who due to the pandemic have not been able to go out to sell. ”
Accompanied by his security cabinet, the president asked for the support of the Mexican population to buy, as far as possible, tickets for the draw to be held on September 15.
“We decided to do this conference because it will be close to September 15 and we have to sell the tickets, (so) I call on people to help, to the extent of their economic possibilities,” he said.
Cost $ 1.7 million to preserve the US presidential plane
Jorge Mendoza Sánchez, general director of Banobras, reported that the preservation costs of the presidential plane TP-01 in the United States amounted to 1.7 million dollars (about just over 37 million pesos) and reported that one of the two interested in the aircraft has provided a $ 1 million advance.

“It has always had the support of the United Nations (UN) and a sale price that in no case is less than the market value, that is, the plane is not going to be wasted.
