244 patients from Madrid transfer their health card to León in May

Castilla y León registered during the month of May 5,569 registrations of people displaced temporarily from other autonomous communities that have requested the transfer of their health card, of them 53 percent correspond to residents of Madrid and 15.8 percent to citizens of the Basque Country.

According to data updated by the Board and published on the Transparency Portal, both communities are the ones that most cards of displaced persons compute in the Community, with a rise in the month of May over that of April, 19.8 and 21 percent, respectively, of Madrid and the Basque Country.

Of the residents madrileños, a total of 1,170 were registered in Ávila (39.5 percent), 559 in Segovia (18.8 percent), 244 in Lion (8.2 percent) and 241 in Salamanca (8.1 percent). In Burgos, there were 181, in Palencia 82, in Soria 123, in Valladolid 136 and in Zamora 219.

In the case of residents in the Basque Country, 53.4 percent (571 cards) did so in the province of Burgos, and 97 in Salamanca, 85 in Palencia and 83 in Zamora were already quite a distance away.

From the rest of the neighboring communities, the temporary card change was received from 309 residents in Asturias, 160 in Cantabria, 143 in Castilla-La Mancha, 145 in Extremadura, 156 in Galicia, 58 in La Rioja and 84 in Aragón. Of the non-neighbors, 232 come from Catalonia and 188 from Andalusia.

The data for May is higher than that registered in April, but lower than that of March, where there was only the temporary transfer of 3,956 residents in Madrid and 1,195 of the Basque Country.
