“22-Year-Old Woman Survives Shark Attack While Snorkeling on Holiday in Turks and Caicos Islands”

A 22-year-old woman from Connecticut in the USA survived the attack.

The woman was on holiday with a friend in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

According to local police, the woman and her friend were snorkeling when a shark attacked them. An employee at a hotel in the area called an ambulance and the police.

The police later said that the woman lost one of her legs in the attack.

The woman was taken to a hospital, where her condition is said to be serious.
