22 entities are under fire; the alliance with other cartels allowed its expansion

The business structure The CJNG has generated that in 2018 the US Department of Justice labeled the criminal organization as one of the most important at the transnational level and the most important in Mexico.

The criminal organization’s alliances with others in the world have given it a presence in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia, where it traffics various synthetic drugs, such as glass.

According to investigations carried out between the government of Mexico and the United States, the CJNG is dedicated to the manufacture and trafficking of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and fentanyl, which leaves them with millions of illicit profits with which they can buy and traffic the latest weapons of war. generation, in addition to hiring gunmen, vehicles and aircraft to carry out their illegal activities.

The financial structure of the criminal organization allows them to continue operating, despite the assurances in cash or bank accounts, as happened with the operation called Blue agave, carried out by the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of the Ministry of Finance in coordination with DEA, managing to freeze one thousand 939 bank accounts.

In this coordinated operation, the FIU analyzed a total of two thousand 571 unusual operations for an amount of two thousand 951 million pesos, as well as a total of 38 thousand 459 reports of relevant operations for more than 11 thousand 478 million pesos, among other millionaire transactions.

For its part, the InSight Crime Foundation, points out in the article titled Jalisco Cartel New Generation (CJNG), discloses the organization’s operations in 22 entities in the country, such as Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Puebla, Nuevo León, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Jalisco and Tamaulipas; in addition, Colima, Michoacán, Morelos, Guanajuato, Nayarit, Guerrero, Veracruz, CDMX and the State of Mexico.

THE ORIGIN

El Mencho was born in Naranjo de Chila, municipality of Aguililla, Michoacán, an emblematic demarcation of Tierra Caliente and related to drug trafficking since the 1970s.

Nemesio, according to records of the defunct PGR, grew up under the protection of Armando Valencia Cornelio, founder of the Millennium Cartel, a criminal organization in Michoacán during the 1980s and 1990s.

When Valencia was imprisoned, in 2003, El Mencho rose from the hands of the brothers Abigael, Eduardo and José González Valencia, who are his brothers-in-law and are imprisoned.

El Mencho was never accepted by Jesús Méndez, The monkey; Nazario Moreno, El Chayo, and Servando Gómez Martínez, The suit, who according to police reports, expelled him from Michoacán and went to Jalisco, where he allied with Ignacio Coronel Villareal, lieutenant of the Pacific Cartel and, on his death in July 2010, founded the CJNG, an organization born to combat Los Zetas.
