Gunslinger James Howard Jackson was one of five men involved in a robbery of the dog walker. Jackson is seen as the main culprit because he had and used a firearm. An accomplice had previously been sentenced to four years in prison.
Dog walker Ryan Fischer was attacked on the evening of February 2021 while walking Lady Gaga’s dogs in Hollywood. The thieves took the dogs Koji and Gustav with them. The third Miss Asia dog escaped, but was later found.
Fischer addressed the shooter during the hearing. “You shot me and left me for dead,” Fischer said Rolling stone. He said she had lung trouble from the shooting. “But I forgive you. I know I can’t go on without saying those words to you.”
After Lady Gaga offered a $500,000 reward, Koji and Gustav were taken unharmed to a Los Angeles police station. The suspects would not have known that they were the singer’s dogs. They said they were only looking for French bulldogs because of their value.
