21 states are “red zone” due to increased infections and yesterday was the worst day of summer by number of deaths | Univision Health News

People traveling to New York from Puerto Rico, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota and Washington DC, where covid-19 infections have increased, will have to serve a 14-day quarantine, the state governor said in a statement Tuesday. Andrew Cuomo.

New Jersey and Connecticut have imposed the same restrictions on these three states, Puerto Rico and Washingon DC., as it has done with other places in the USA.

With these, there are now 36 destinations to which New York, with a large Puerto Rican population, has imposed a mandatory quarantine due to the increase in cases of the virus.

The list already included Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, and Indiana.

Also to Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
