2024 CPNS Vacancies: Priority for Teachers, Health Workers, and Fresh Graduates with Digital Talent

The announcement of 2024 CPNS vacancies is planned to be released in the first week of January 2024. Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas said that the priorities for 2024 ASN recruitment are teachers and health workers, then solving the problem of non-ASN personnel in government agencies.

Anas added that the recruitment of fresh graduate CPNS is also set aside for 2024. Priority is given to new graduates who have digital talents to support the digital transformation of the Indonesian government.

“So far there has been no recruitment (for fresh graduate) except for the Prosecutor’s Office yesterday, and the total is quite large this year, the detailed number will be announced later by the President,” said Azwar Anas in detikFinancequoted Tuesday (2/1/2024).

Need for CPNS Fresh Graduate Digital Talent in the Regions

Anas said that the need for digital talent from the fresh graduate group is needed to support the development of various sectors in the regions.

“One of the focuses is on digital talents because we need a lot of digital talents in the regions. But the digital talents are not digital marketing, such as online loans and so on, but more upstream, for example digital in the agricultural sector,” he explained.

Fresh Graduate of IKN

Azwar Anas said that President Joko Widodo gave directions for recruiting fresh civil servant graduates or new graduates in 2024. He explained that President Jokowi wanted more fresh graduates to be placed in IKN.

“And he (Jokowi) asked for great fresh graduates, one of whom will be given lots of space at IKN,” he said.
