We are going to the cinema again. Nearly 32 million tickets were sold in 2023. That is an increase of 27 percent compared to the previous year, according to figures from Film Distributors Netherlands (FDN) and the Dutch Association of Cinemas and Film Theaters (NVBF). Total turnover amounted to 338 million euros (an increase of 31 percent).
