Who will be at the top next season?
In the relegation to Bundesliga, as in previous years, the Bundesliga-16. against the third party 2nd league. This year we can and must tremble and hope until the end. Because in the Bundesliga as well as in the 2nd league it is not yet clear before the 34th matchday who will be in the 2023 relegation.
Bochum is currently in 16th place in the Bundesliga with 32 points. Before that Augsburg (34) and Stuttgart (also 32) have to tremble, Schalke (31) on the 17th can still hope for the relegation place. In the 2nd league, on the other hand, it’s only between HSV (63 points) and Heidenheim (64) for third place and thus relegation.

When is the game played?
Unlike last year, 2023 will start at 8:15 p.m. In 2022, the relegation started 15 minutes later at 8:30 p.m.
Interesting: The second division team has home rights in the second leg because their season ends on May 15th later than that of the Bundesliga team on May 14th. The reason for this is that the second division team has fewer days off before the first leg than the Bundesliga team.
Where is the relegation on TV?
You can watch both the first leg on June 1st and the second leg on June 5th live on free TV, Sat.1 will broadcast both games. Also the Streaming provider WOW (Advertisement) shows the 2023 relegation live in the stream. Alternatively, you can follow the first leg on Thursday in the live ticker at BILD.de. Kick-off is at 8:15 p.m.
