Three people are in critical condition after a shooting on Chicago’s South Side Sunday afternoon.
The shooting took place around 4:25 pm Sunday afternoon in the 2900 block of East 97th St, when the three victims were involved in a verbal altercation with another group of people, police said.
Police say that during the discussion the suspect pulled out a gun and fired at the victims, hitting three.
A 32-year-old man was taken to hospital in critical condition after being shot in the abdomen, ankle and thigh. A 22-year-old man was shot in the back and is in critical condition at a local hospital.
