SLEMAN – Indonesian National Team U-16 will face Vietnam in the final AFF U-16 Cup 2022. Vietnam coach, Nguyen Quoc Tuan, said his team did not flinch and would give everything.
As is known, the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup final will take place at the Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Friday 12 August 2022, at 20.00 WIB. This match is a repeat of the last week of Group A.
Ahead of the final match, Nguyen Quoc Tuan said the match against the U-16 Indonesian National Team would be a prestigious decision. Even so, he was not afraid to face the Indonesian U-16 national team who played in front of thousands of supporters.
“For the players, be mentally prepared for the match and focus during the game,” said Nguyen Quoc Tuan at a press conference on Thursday (11/8/2022).
In fact, Vietnam will do everything to beat the Indonesian U-16 national team in front of their own supporters. That is certainly a dangerous alarm for Garuda Asia.
“The final match, this is a quality match. We will do everything for tomorrow’s match,” said Nguyen Quoc Tuan.
Please note, Vietnam has been the best three times in the AFF U-16 Cup. Together with Thailand, Vietnam is the most successful team in the AFF U-16 Cup with a collection of three trophies.
Given this history, Garuda Asia must be aware of potential surprises from Vietnam. If you are careless, the U-16 Indonesian National Team can lose in the top party.
Moreover, the U-16 Indonesian National Team has only won the U-16 AFF Cup once, namely in 2018. Previously, Garuda Asia lost in the 2013 edition of the top party.
