On June 2, the European probe Mars Express celebrated 20 years since its launch. On this occasion, the European Space Agency organized the first ever live broadcast from Mars. The camera on the probe sent photos that were shown on YouTube after the nearly 17-minute journey to Earth. The ESA agency thus wanted to popularize the entire extremely successful Mars Express mission to the public.
