The ministry has unveiled the list of selected departments – however doubts remain about the participation of Seine-Saint-Denis – to experiment with an RSA conditioned by the hours of integration activities. The Assembly of Departments of France intends to evaluate the progress of the system itself and is already asking the State for dedicated funds.
From 2023, almost one in five departments will experience the release to beneficiaries of the Active Solidarity Income (RSA) under the conditions of hours of integration activities. These are 18 metropolitan departments: Aisne, Aveyron, Bouches-du-Rhône, Côte-d’Or, Creuse, Eure, Ille-et-Vilaine, Loire-Atlantique, Loiret, Mayenne, Métropole de Lyon, Nord, Pyrénées-Atlantiques , Seine-Saint-Denis, Somme, Vosges, Yonne, Yvelines – and, overseas, Reunion, according to the list communicated by the government.
