Two teams could overtake Werder on Sunday. In the evening at 6 p.m. Hertha BSC and Arminia Bielefeld will meet for a direct duel. 1. FC Köln will play against SC Freiburg at 1:30 p.m. With a win, the Cologne would be over at Werder. At 3:30 p.m. Mainz 05 will also compete at Eintracht Frankfurt. If the Mainz team win, the relegation battle would be as good as over for them. For Werder, however, it could be very bitter.
