Health: Cases of corona virus recovery have increased to 44066 and discharge from hospitals
Health: 157 new positive cases of coronavirus were registered, and 23 deaths
Today, Monday, Monday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 1611 people recovering from the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving necessary medical care and recovering according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson of the Ministry, stated that 157 new cases that proved positive laboratory analyzes of the virus were recorded, as part of the surveillance, investigation and necessary examinations conducted by the Ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 23 new cases.
“According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days of infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus,” Mujahid said.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until Monday, is 94,640 cases, including 4,466 cases that have been cured, and 4,888 deaths.
